VPN
A Virtual Private Network (VPN) allows you to "Log in" to the campus network and perform work from anywhere you have internet access. This requires you to download the VPN Client. Since you must log in, this allows campus resources (SIS+, email Account Search, etc.) to remain secure, while still allowing you to get work done remotely.
To use the VPN client you must have a CSUSB email account. You can get the client software for your PC by visiting the Information Security Office's web page (http://www.infosec.csusb.edu/) and going to the Campus Resources.
