IPCC
The Telecommunications & Network Services department has purchased the Cisco IP Contact Center (IPCC). This enables departments to do automatic call distribution. Automatic call distrobution allows customers (students, for example) to reach a select group of people trained to answer their questions (whom do I speak with about...?). This also gives customers one number to dial to reach a particular department (i.e. records, registration, and evaluations).
