Convict Lake Camp and Kayak

October 2, 2026 - October 4, 2026
9:00am - 9:00pm
Eastern Sierras

Join CSUSB Adventure for a weekend escape to the Eastern Sierra at the breathtaking Convict Lake Campground for an unforgettable outdoor experience filled with mountain views, alpine lakes, and relaxation.

Nestled beneath towering granite peaks near Mammoth Lakes, Convict Lake offers crystal-clear water, scenic hiking trails, and incredible fall scenery. Throughout the weekend, participants will explore the famous Convict Lake Loop Trail, paddle across the lake by kayak, and venture out on additional nearby hikes through the Eastern Sierra wilderness. We’ll also take time to unwind and soak in nearby natural hot springs while enjoying the peaceful mountain atmosphere.

Campers will experience tent camping under the stars, community meals, campfires, and opportunities to build connections with fellow students through outdoor adventure. Whether you’re looking to relax in nature, challenge yourself on the trails, or simply get away for the weekend, this trip is perfect for all experience levels.

Transportation, camping equipment, kayaks, and trip leadership will be provided. Participants should come prepared for cool mountain temperatures, outdoor activities, and an adventurous weekend in one of California’s most scenic destinations.
