Redwoods Camp and Explore - SBC
Come join us for an unforgettable adventure to Redwood National Park. This park offers a variety of hiking trails that take you through various diverse environments; prairies, redwood forests, and beaches. Enjoy the drive through the National Park with views of Tiger Lilies along the roadside with a hint of wild flowers. Walk among the beautiful Redwood Trees; the tallest trees on earth and oldest that have been around for 160 million years. Adventure will be spending three nights in Richardson's Grove Campground where we can swim in the river and access several hiking trails. Next we travel farther north to spend 2 nights in Prairie Creek Campground where we will take hikes exploring Fern Canyon, Elk Meadows, and Gold Bluffs Beach. We will then start heading back to CSUSB stopping along the way to sleep and eat.

Itinerary
Wednesday 7.23.23
Day 1: We will be meeting at the SRWC at 8:00am to get ready for our 12 hour journey with stops along the way for meals and fuel fill ups! That night we will be arriving at night setting up camp at Hidden Springs campground in Humboldt Redwoods State Park where we will be surrounded by gorgeous trees.
Day 2: Visit Founders Grove, hike Addie Johnson Trail, and explore Avenue of the Giants and Eel River.
Day 3: Hike Garden Club to Williams Grove, visit the Immortal Tree, and do the Rockefeller Loop.
Day 4: Drive to Gold Bluffs, visit Chah-pekw Visitor Center, hike Trillium Falls, and chill at Gold Bluffs Beach Campground.
Day 5: Hike Fern Canyon, Lady Bird Johnson Trail, visit Trees of Mystery, Yurok Trail, and Klamath Overlook.
Day 6: Drive to Bothe-Napa Valley SP - Valley Yurt, set up camp, and explore the local area.
Day 7: After we will depart to CSUSB arriving at 8pm.

Food
15 meals are included, starting with breakfast on on day 2 (6 breakfast, 5 lunches, and 4 dinners)
5 meal are not included (2 lunches and 3 dinners). Bring money.
Hygiene and Comfort
We will be staying in reserved campsites. The campsites are within close proximity to vault toilets and there are NO showers. We will treat water from a nearby spring or bring enough water from CSUSB. You will have the option to share a tent with one or two people or sleep out under the cover of the stars. Light weight tents, warm synthetic sleeping bags, foam pads and ground tarps will be provided to ensure a comfortable night’s sleep. The ground consists of soft soil.
