As part of the annual State of the City address, San Bernardino Mayor R. Carey Davis recalled the city’s past and those who have contributed to it. And among those who Davis referred to as pioneers were several people who have ties to Cal State San Bernardino.
University President Tomás D. Morales was listed with the city’s Pioneer Men, and university police Chief Nina Jamsen was included with the city’s Pioneer Women.
Davis, himself a CSUSB alumnus (MBA, 1997), included fellow alumni on his pioneer lists. They included:
