Thirty-three CSUSB students majoring in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) or STEM-related majors have been awarded scholarships from Edison International. The scholarship funds will pay for tuition and other related expenses to support economically disadvantaged, underrepresented, academically qualified students. About 75 percent of the funds were distributed among College of Natural Sciences students in Project STEM and 25 percent were distributed to students involved in the Center for Enhancement of Mathematics Education (CEME) program. “We are grateful for Edison’s generous support, which will help our students as they pursue their majors in STEM related fields,” said CSUSB Provost Shari McMahan. “We believe that our Edison International scholarship recipients will serve as an inspiration to future Cal State San Bernardino students on the importance of being STEM majors.” The following students received $1,500 Edison International scholarships:
