Ice Cube and Cedric the Entertainer star in the comedy “Barbershop: The Next Cut,” on Thursday as the Free Summer Movie Series continues at Cal State San Bernardino.
The movie will begin at 8 p.m. on the lawn in front of the university’s John M. Pfau Library. The community is welcome to attend, and complementary parking will be in lots C and D.
The annual series, which will run every Thursday night through Aug. 18, will also feature concessions from Family First Catering and Party Rental.
The university’s EOP Alumni Chapter will sell Jamba Juice smoothies and candy to support the Educational Opportunity Program’s book awards.
In addition there will also be a library book sale featuring books for $1.
Movie-goers may bring blankets and lawn chairs, which will be allowed in the grass area beyond the walkway from the inflatable screen.
“The Jungle Book” kicked off the movie series on July 7. The remaining scheduled movies — all recent box office blockbusters — are:
- July 28: “Allegiant”;
- 4:“The Angry Birds Movie” (Dress as your favorite angry bird!);
- 11:“Captain America: Civil War” (Dress as your favorite superhero!); and
- 18:“Alice Through the Looking Glass” (Tea party theme!).
The movie nights are presented by CSUSB’s John M. Pfau Library and sponsored by CSUSB Alumni Relations, CSUSB Associated Students Inc. CSUSB’s Coyote First Step and Family First Event and Rentals.
