It’s the Coyotes vs. the Lancers today, Friday, Dec. 1, at 7:30 p.m. at Cal Baptist in Riverside.
A win tonight in the semifinal match with NCAA Division II West Regional Tournament host Cal Baptist would propel Cal State San Bernardino’s women’s volleyball team into the regional final, set for 7 p.m. Saturday at Cal Baptist’s Van Dyne Gym. On the other end of the tournament bracket is the 5 p.m. match between Northwest Nazarene and Western Washington.
The Coyotes reached the semifinal after battling Azusa Pacific in the opening round on Thursday. That match went the full five sets, with CSUSB winning 3-2.
Likewise, the Lancers had to go to the full five in its match to beat Sonoma State, 3-2.
The CSUSB Athletics Department’s free bus ride/ticket combo to the match is full, but the department will have free tickets available at door at the Cal Baptist gym. Call (909) 537-5011 for more information.
For those riding the bus to Cal Baptist in Riverside, it will leave the campus at 4:30 p.m. from Lot A, and return at about 10 p.m.
Should the Coyotes make the final, CSUSB Athletics will announce arrangements for transportation and admission to the regional championship match.
