The Student Association of Geography and Environmental Studies Club, also known as SAGES, will lead a cleanup of the Cal State San Bernardino Nature Preserve in the foothills behind the campus.
Volunteers are asked to meet at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, April 22, at the gate on Martin A. Matich Roadway and North Campus Drive, near Lot N. A valid CSUSB parking permit or a day parking pass is required.
Gloves and collection bags will be provided. The cleanup will take place from 11:30 a.m. through 2 p.m. in the area along the road leading to the Murillo Family Observatory and the connected hiking trails in the preserve.
Students can earn up to three hours of community service.
