J. Lawrence Norton, a member of the California State University Board of Trustees, visited Cal State San Bernardino on Thursday, Feb. 2, to meet with university officials, students, faculty and staff.
Norton was welcomed by Tomás D. Morales, CSUSB president, and met with Shari McMahan, provost and vice president for Academic Affairs; Doug Freer, vice president for Administration and Finance; Ron Fremont, vice president for University Advancement; Brian Haynes, vice president for Student Affairs; and Sam Sudhakar, vice president for Information and Technology Services.
His itinerary at CSUSB included meeting with the Faculty Senate, a tour of the campus that included visits to The DEN Food Pantry, the Robert and Frances Fullerton Art Museum, the Peace Garden, the CSU Water Resources and Policy Initiatives, and the Leonard Transportation Center.
After lunch with students, he toured the Cal State San Bernardino Reentry Initiative in downtown San Bernardino.
