The personal finance website included Liang Kevin Guo, associate professor of accounting and finance, in its Ask the Experts feature for an article about credit cards that offer an introductory
zero percent interest.
Used wisely, he said, such cards “could be a good deal. If you play the 0% credit card right, you can enjoy interest-free loans on your purchase for some specified amount of time; but if you do not play it right and carry a huge amount of balance beyond the 0% introductory period, you could end up paying much more than you think.”
