Cal State San Bernardino remains committed to student success and will assist students wanting to accelerate their progress toward degree completion by offering Winter Intersession courses that will run Dec. 17 through Jan. 19.
The Winter Intersession course schedule will be available on Oct. 11 and registration will begin Nov. 8. Enrollment is open to all so act quickly and register on-time as classes will fill up quickly.
CSUSB, through the College of Extended and Global Education, is offering a wide range of courses, with the majority of them being online offered both synchronously and asynchronously, as well as a limited number of in-person courses. With a compressed session, students can earn as many as four units during their winter break.
“This is a great opportunity for students to advance toward their degree in a short and focused way,” said Tatiana Karmanova, dean of the CEGE.
CSUSB President Tomás D. Morales urged students to sign up for the Winter Intersession.
“I encourage the campus community to take full advantage of this wonderful program,” said Morales. “We designed the Winter Intersession with our students in mind. Providing this option allows students to potentially graduate sooner and thereby allowing them to enter the workforce faster in order to pursue their career opportunities.”
The undergraduate fee is $320 per unit and the graduate fee is $340 per unit. Campus mandatory fees will not be charged for winter intersession. This year, the campus leadership team has also developed a discount program that will allow qualified CSUSB students to receive a tuition discount of up to 50%. There is also a Graduation Initiative Discount for students only needing one course to complete during winter intersession to graduate.
Visit the Winter Intersession website for information on additional fees and discounts, as well as details on registration and related topics.
