CSUSB professor interviewed for program past year in Palestine and prospects for the future

On a program that focused on the past year in Palestine, Ahlam Muhtaseb, CSUSB professor of media studies, and Andy Trimlett, who co-directed and co-produced the documentary “1948: Creation and Catastrophe” with Muhtaseb, discussed the origins of Palestine’s ongoing Nakba, or catastrophe, in the Zionist project of ethnic cleansing that commenced in 1948 and continues in the ongoing evictions, administrative detentions, and housing demolitions of today. They discussed the continuing relevance of their documentary in the present.
