Cal State San Bernardino welcomed prospective students and their families on Oct. 26 for Fall Preview Day at the San Bernardino campus. The event, designed to introduce students to the academic and social opportunities available at CSUSB, provided an immersive experience with interactive workshops, campus tours and personalized support sessions.

High school juniors, seniors and transfer students explored what it means to be part of the CSUSB community through tailored sessions and hands-on activities. “The College Experience” session gave students an opportunity to meet with faculty and current students from their areas of interest while learning how to balance coursework with extracurricular activities. Many attendees left inspired by the possibilities they discovered.

The “CSUSB Highlights” presentation showcased the university’s diverse academic offerings, recent achievements and admissions details, helping students envision their path to success at CSUSB.

Financial guidance was a top priority for many families, and the “Financial Aid Workshop” did not disappoint. Experts walked participants through the FAFSA process and provided tips for securing scholarships and grants, helping students and parents feel more confident about navigating college finances.

Students preparing to apply to CSUSB took advantage of the “Application Workshop and Transcript Review.” Many completed and submitted their applications during the event, receiving expert advice and one-on-one feedback from admissions counselors.

Attendees also toured CSUSB’s residence halls and cutting-edge facilities, gaining insight into what campus life looks like firsthand. Riverside County high school students learned more about the direct admissions program, designed to streamline their path to CSUSB.

While the San Bernardino campus event has concluded, the next Fall Preview Day will take place on Nov. 9 at the Palm Desert Campus, providing another opportunity for students to engage with CSUSB and explore their future. With the same lineup of workshops, tours and personalized guidance, the Palm Desert event promises to deliver another exciting introduction to university life.
