California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB) is excited to announce its upcoming Instant Admit Day this Nov. 12-13, welcoming approximately 600-700 high school students from the San Bernardino City Unified School District to campus. This event, designed to create a direct pathway to college, offers students on-the-spot admission opportunities while immersing them in the university experience through interactive campus activities.

CSUSB will host two separate Instant Admit Days to accommodate all students. Each event will feature CSUSB admissions counselors reviewing student transcripts and providing immediate admission decisions for qualifying students, aiming to strengthen the connection between the district and the university and inspire more students to pursue higher education.

Event Highlights:

  • Welcome Session
    The day begins with a welcome address by CSUSB’s Provost Rafik Mohammed, who will share the university's mission and its commitment to supporting student success.
  • Activities
    Students will rotate through several engaging activities including:
    • Campus Tours – Led by student ambassadors, these tours will highlight the university's key facilities and student resources.
    • Application Workshop – Dedicated staff will assist students with the application process and answer any questions.
    • Financial Aid Overview – An interactive session will provide insights into financial aid options and resources available to students, along with a panel of current students and alumni sharing best practices for navigating financial aid and scholarships.
  • Student Panel
    CSUSB students from a variety of academic programs and backgrounds will share their experiences, answer questions, and discuss campus life, clubs, and support services, giving prospective students a firsthand look at CSUSB’s vibrant community.
  • College Fair
    Lunch will be served alongside a college fair, featuring tables hosted by academic departments, affinity groups, and student organizations, allowing students to connect with CSUSB’s diverse programs and resources.
