Cal State San Bernardino will host the 16th Annual Spring Classic Golf Tournament on Friday, May 2, at Morongo Golf Club at Tukwet Canyon in Beaumont. Organized by students in the university’s Advanced Sports and Entertainment Marketing course, the tournament brings together students, faculty, staff, alumni and community members for a day of friendly competition in support of a meaningful cause.
The event begins with a 7 a.m. check-in, followed by an 8 a.m. shotgun start. A celebratory banquet will take place from 1-3 p.m. Tournament play will follow a foursome team format and include contests, raffles and opportunities for networking and community-building.
Registration is $135 for individuals, $260 for twosomes and $500 for foursomes. Proceeds benefit the CSUSB Sports and Entertainment Marketing Scholarship, which supports students pursuing marketing careers in the competitive sports and entertainment industries while providing real-world experience in event planning, sponsorship and promotion.
Space is limited to 72 players or 18 teams. For more information or to register, visit the event website or email 004973861@coyote.csusb.edu.
