CSUSB’s College of Natural Sciences (CNS) will host the CNS Science Carnival on April 25 from 9 a.m.-2 p.m., bringing together students from across the Inland Empire to explore the wonders of science through hands-on activities and interactive experiences.
The event is expected to welcome more than 300 K-12 students and guests. Designed to inspire young minds and promote a love of science, the carnival will feature interactive booths, laboratory tours and partial campus tours, all focused on making science fun, engaging and accessible.
Booths hosted by departments in the College of Natural Sciences and across campus will offer hands-on experiments, demonstrations, and educational games. From exploring the magic of chemistry to understanding the principles of physics through play, students will have the chance to discover science in a lively, carnival-like atmosphere.
The event also emphasizes community connection with participation from local educational leaders and partners, including the San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools and The Energy Coalition.
The CNS Science Carnival reflects CSUSB’s mission to foster academic excellence, provide accessible education and serve the needs of the region. Through creativity, collaboration and hands-on learning, the CNS Science Carnival brings science to life for students of all ages. The event is more than just a day of fun — it’s an opportunity to ignite curiosity and build lasting connections between science and the next generation of learners.
