Cal State San Bernardino’s Jack H. Brown College of Business and Public Administration will host an in-person conversation on how the Federal Reserve really works and why it matters on Thursday, Feb. 19, from noon to 1 p.m. It will take place in Jack H. Brown Hall, Room 287.
The program is free and open to students, staff, faculty and community members. Attendees are encouraged to reserve a spot in advance.
The conversation will provide an accessible overview of the Federal Reserve’s role in shaping economic policy and financial stability, helping attendees better understand how its decisions affect businesses, communities, and individuals. It will feature Tomás Gómez-Arias, dean of the college, and Francisca Beer, professor of finance and director and associate dean of the JHBC Office of Academic Equity.
