Joe Liscano, a member of the university community for 42 years before retiring in July 2019, passed away on Sept. 13.  Memorial services are pending.

David Yaghoubian (history) discussed a cyberattack that targeted Israeli companies, and Chuck Christie (public administration, emeritus) was honored for his service as a member of the Yucaipa-Calimesa Joint Unified School District board.

Steven Mintz (professor of accounting, emeritus, and former dean, 1996-98, Jack H. Brown College) and Alemayehu G. Mariam (political science, emeritus) both write opinion pieces in their respective areas of expertise.

Alfredo Alva, 61, who retired from Cal State San Bernardino’s Facilities Management in March of this year, passed away on May 5.
