University President Tomás D. Morales was awarded the 29th California State Senate District Man of the Year award from state Sen. Eloise Gómez-Reyes.

CSUSB’s Theta Iota chapter of Pi Sigma Alpha, the National Political Science Honors Society, has been named a 2024-25 Best Chapter. The university’s Theta Iota chapter has been awarded a 2024-25 Best Chapter Award by Pi Sigma Alpha, the National Political Science Honors Society. 

Twelve CSUSB students have received the Innovative Media and Technology Graduate Research Award, which supports graduate students who are conducting research in immersive and emerging technologies, including augmented reality, virtual reality, mixed reality, artificial intelligence, robotics, and related fields.

Bob Miller, a faculty member in CSUSB’s public administration program, was recognized for his excellence in teaching, mentorship, and public service. Miller, a former police chief and current Yucaipa City Council member, was honored at the IE ASPA awards banquet in Riverside on July 24.
