
Guillermo Escalante, professor of kinesiology and associate dean in the College of Natural Sciences, was invited to participate on a panel at the Second Conference on Human Enhancement, held at Oxford University in England.

Stacey Ortiz, program specialist for the Doctorate in Educational Leadership program, will help lead the conference in Anchorage, Alaska, in March. NACADA is an association that consists of professional advisors, counselors, faculty, administrators and students who work together to enhance the educational development of students.

Cal State San Bernardino hosted the annual Southern California Conference for Undergraduate Research on Nov. 23. The university was well represented with 84 CSUSB students across multiple academic disciplines who presented their work in the form of oral presentations, posters, and creative exhibits and performances.

The Nov. 23 conference showcases the outstanding scholarship, creative work and research of students from universities across Southern California.

Five Cal State San Bernardino students, led by Bibiana Díaz, professor of World Languages and Literatures, visited 10 Puerto Rican colleges, attended Hispanic Educational Technology Services presentations and workshops, toured cultural landmarks, and dined with Puerto Rico Secretary of State Licenciado Omar Marrero.

Sonia V. Otte, founding director of CSUSB’s Master of Science in Physician Assistant program, recently participated in a panel discussion that addressed key issues and solutions in the health workforce at the annual National Innovative Communities Conference in Riverside.

Cal State San Bernardino will host the annual Southern California Conference for Undergraduate Research on Nov. 23. The conference showcases the outstanding scholarship, creative work and research of students from universities across Southern California.

The team, representing the nation of Burundi, was honored with the Outstanding Delegation Award, the highest award given by the National Model United Nations Conference in New York City, arguably the most prestigious conference of its kind.

San Bernardino Mayor Helen Tran will give the keynote address at the annual Womxn’s Leadership Conference, which takes place March 29 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Santos Manuel Student Union South.
