CSUSB’s College of Natural Sciences will host the annual Day of Remembrance on Tuesday, Dec. 2, from 3-5 p.m. in the Peace Garden to honor the 14 lives lost during the 2015 mass shooting at the Inland Regional Center in San Bernardino, including five Cal State San Bernardino alumni.

Ten years after tragedy forever changed the San Bernardino community, CSUSB continues to honor the 14 lives lost in the 2015 mass shooting at the Inland Regional Center. All the victims will be honored during the Day of Remembrance on Dec. 2 at the university’s Peace Garden. 

Twelve students — from CSUSB and five local community colleges — took part in a three-week training workshop on vectors and vector-borne diseases at Cal State San Bernardino, gaining hands-on experience in vector identification, surveillance and control methods.

Cal State San Bernardino recently concluded a three-week training workshop on vectors and vector-borne diseases. The workshop, now in its second year, provided students with an immersive learning experience combining lectures, laboratory work, field training and site visits.

CSUSB students, faculty, staff, alumni and community members attended the Department of Health Science and Human Ecology’s 50th anniversary celebration to reflect on its legacy and ongoing commitment to excellence in education, research and community service.
