Jose Ramiriz II, the Outstanding Undergraduate Student, and Bobae Lee, the Outstanding Graduate Student, will be honored at the college’s commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 16, at 1:30 p.m. at Toyota Arena in Ontario.
Two first-generation students – Carmen Uribe, master’s in psychology, and Lidia Albarran, bachelor’s in social work – are being recognized for research excellence, community impact and a shared drive to expand opportunity. Uribe is the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences’ Outstanding Graduate Student, and Albarran is the college’s Outstanding Undergraduate Student.
The Jack H. Brown College of Business and Public Administration honored its top students on May 5, celebrating academic achievement and the journeys behind each success. The ceremony highlighted the role of mentorship, community and perseverance in shaping student excellence at CSUSB.
Jessica Mary Fanene, who earned a Master’s of Social Work, was named Outstanding Graduate Student, and Lauren Pitman, studied psychology with a biological concentration, was named the Outstanding Undergraduate Student. The College of Social and Behavioral Sciences will host two ceremonies on Friday, May 16, at the Toyota Arena in Ontario.
Justus Baker-Postell, the Outstanding Undergraduate Student, and Monica Ybanez, the Outstanding Graduate Student, will be honored at the college’s commencement ceremony at 9 a.m. Saturday, May 17, at Toyota Arena in Ontario.
Negin Ghaffari, the Outstanding Graduate Student, and Natalya Marsh, the Outstanding Undergraduate Student, were recognized at the college’s Commencement exercises at 1:30 p.m. on May 17.
Olayinka Owoseni is the college’s Outstanding Graduate Student, while Sade Harper is the Outstanding Undergraduate Student. They were honored at the college’s Spring Commencement ceremony on May 18 at the Toyota Arena in Ontario.
Dia Poole, who graduated with her master’s in communication studies, and Filimon Fregoso, who graduated with his bachelor’s in English, are the 2022-23 College of Arts and Letters Outstanding Students.
Lizette Velazquez, a dual graduate student, is the college’s Outstanding Graduate Student, while undergraduate John Lane is the Outstanding Undergraduate Student.
