MFA student Amanda Santos’ exhibition will be on display at the Robert and Frances Fullerton Museum of Art’s Dutton Family Gallery from Nov. 13-20. The mixed media installation, exploring the link between the microscopic world and anxiety, will include a public reception and Artist Talk on Nov. 13.

CSUSB’s Robert and Frances Fullerton Museum of Art will open “Beautiful Strangers” on Nov. 8. It is curated by costume designer and CSUSB Professor of Theater Arts Andre Harrington, featuring artifacts from the museum’s permanent collection that explore adornment, textiles and ritual across 14 African countries.

Artifacts from RAFFMA’s esteemed Egyptian collection are viewed during a Family Egypt Day event. The upcoming “Ancient Egypt and Modern Line” exhibition will feature pieces from the collection and reveal how the visual language of ancient Egypt continues to inspire modern artistic expression.

Mindfulness at the Museum is a four-part wellness series presented by RAFFMA and CAPS and includes a gentle yoga workshop on Nov. 5.

Mindfulness at the Museum is a four-part wellness series running Oct. 1–Nov. 19. The lunch-hour sessions blend mindfulness, movement and creativity to support mental health, self-awareness and personal growth for students, faculty, staff and the community. These events are free and open to the public.
