College Corps program allows CSUSB Palm Desert Campus student to pay for college through volunteering in her community

As a College Corps fellow, PDC student Juliana Garcia volunteers at Big Brothers and Big Sisters of the Desert while earning a financial benefit to help pay for her college education.

Students at Cal State San Bernardino participated in a live and virtual ceremony where Gov. Gavin Newsom spoke, along with other state and university officials, and where they took the service oath to the first #CaliforniansForAll College Corps Fellows.

College Corps is a statewide paid service program which provides meaningful work to underserved college students, helping them graduate on time and with less debt while benefiting the local community.
