
Presented by the university’s James R. Watson and Judy Rodriguez Watson College of Education and the College of Natural Sciences, the free event will begin at 4 p.m. and run through 6 p.m. at the Obershaw Dining Room in the Alumni Center.

Eight alumni were honored for their professional accomplishments and community service at the inaugural Alumni Hall of Fame Awards on Feb. 16.

Three university-wide awards – Distinguished Alumni, Emerging Leader and Coyote Spirit – will be presented, as well as the Paw Print Awards, which honor esteemed alumni from each of the university’s five colleges.

Juan Carlos Luna, BA, liberal studies, ’02, MA, bilingual education,’04, MA, educational administration, ’06, will receive the Paw Prints Award. He is being recognized for his leadership and service in the educational sector.
