Coyote Cares Day 2025

CSUSB proudly continued its tradition of service and community engagement with Coyote Cares Day 2025, held on Saturday, February 22. Led by the Division of Student Affairs, this annual initiative brought together students, faculty, and staff to give back to the communities of San Bernardino and Palm Desert through meaningful volunteer efforts.
This special day of service provided an opportunity for the Coyote family to unite and make a positive impact. Through various volunteer activities, participants worked together to rebuild, restore, and uplift our communities.
Making a Difference in San Bernardino and Palm Desert
In San Bernardino, our volunteers partnered with organizations such as San Bernardino City Mission, Mary Vagle Nature Center, the City of Fontana, Helping Hands, IE Water Clean Up, Project Rebound, and Community Clean Up. Projects included garden restoration, river cleanups, and writing letters to elders. A total of 271 volunteers participated, contributing their time and effort to making a tangible difference.
At our Palm Desert Campus, volunteers collaborated with the Coachella Valley Rescue Mission, engaging in book cleaning and letter-writing initiatives to support the local community.
A Legacy of Service
Coyote Cares Day 2025 allowed us to continue this meaningful CSUSB tradition, connecting our campus community through philanthropy. Whether assisting with beautification projects, supporting local organizations, or engaging in acts of kindness, our Coyotes demonstrated the power of giving back.
Together, we created change that will resonate far beyond this day.
