Celebrating the Success of College Corps Cohort 3

College Corps program proudly celebrated the completion of its third cohort during the Spotlight on Service closing ceremony

On May 3rd, the College Corps program proudly celebrated the completion of its third cohort during the Spotlight on Service closing ceremony. The event brought together fellows, their families, program partners, and host site representatives to recognize the dedication and accomplishments of the students over the academic year.

A highlight of this year’s celebration was the inaugural pre-event symposium, which offered attendees an in-depth look at the fellows’ service journeys. The showcase featured a range of student-led projects, insights gathered from their community service experiences, and compelling testimonials that spoke to the transformative impact of their work at CSUSB and beyond.

Fellow speakers opened the evening by sharing powerful narratives of personal growth, resilience, and newfound purpose. Their stories reflected themes of overcoming challenges, embracing change, and rediscovering their passions through service.

Each fellow was honored with a certificate of participation, a College Corps sash, and a commemorative pin in recognition of their year of service. Graduating fellows received additional acknowledgments for their accomplishments.

The ceremony was a strong reflection of the fellows’ commitment to service and the lasting impact they are making in their communities. Their efforts to create positive change continue to inspire and set the foundation for future generations of changemakers.
