Cal State San Bernardino’s annual Coyote Cares Day brought together the campus community for a day of service that supported local nonprofit organizations, beautification efforts and community-focused projects throughout the Inland Empire.

The annual day of service united students, faculty and staff in hands-on service projects across San Bernardino and Riverside counties. The longstanding tradition highlights CSUSB’s commitment to civic engagement and community partnership.

Throughout Black History Month, CSUSB will host events and activities that foster community, highlight Black art and culture, and reflect the diversity of the campus.

CSUSB’s Black History Month celebration will feature a variety of events that highlight the history, culture and contributions of the African American community, while honoring past and present leaders who have shaped that legacy.

Throughout Black History Month, there will be events and activities that promote camaraderie, showcase Black culture and art, and celebrate the diversity that makes up the Coyote family.

Alumnus Alberto Jasso ’15, director of strategic philanthropy for the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians, was recognized with the Emerging Leader Award at the 2024 Alumni Hall of Fame celebration. Jasso was honored for his contributions in the community and at CSUSB.
