The pre-college programs at CSUSB deliver comprehensive academic and personal support services designed to increase high school graduation rates, college enrollment and degree completion.
The Women’s Resource Center at Cal State San Bernardino will host the 2026 “Take Back the Night” event from 4-6 p.m. Thursday, April 23, at the Santos Manuel Student Union North Courtyard. The university event aims to bring awareness to and end sexual violence in all forms.
Returning for a second time, Jess Block Nerren, alumna and full-time lecturer in the Department of Communication and Media, will become the Faculty Disability Inclusion Fellow for Cal State San Bernardino on Aug. 18.
Highlighting the events for the month will be the art exhibit, “What Were You Wearing?” which will be on display April 21-25 at the Santos Manuel Student Union North.
The Friendship Games “is about coming together as a family, celebrating our Filipino heritage, and creating memories that last a lifetime. Representing CSUSB with pride alongside other schools is an honor we hold close to our hearts,” said Caitlin Munar, president of LUBOS P.A.S.O.

Keynote speaker John Kim of the Los Angeles-based Asian Americans Advancing Justice Southern California urged listeners to take charge, be problem solvers and to speak up in the face of injustice.
The university is getting a head start on the annual celebration of its Asian, Pacific Islander and South Asian communities, with events and programs revolving around the theme, “Uplifting Identities: Sharing Our History.”
Jess Block Nerren ’21, full-time lecturer in communication studies and former interim faculty director of CSUSB’s Services to Students with Disabilities, was named the first Faculty Inclusion Fellow for Disability, Difference and Accommodation.
