The university will host its Spring Commencement ceremonies on May 15-16 at Toyota Arena in Ontario.
Camille Vrieling and Miranda Owen were selected as the 2025-26 Outstanding Students for the College of Natural Sciences. Owen, Outstanding Undergraduate Student, and Vrieling, Outstanding Graduate Student, will be honored at the college’s Spring Commencement at 6 p.m. Saturday, May 16, at the Toyota Arena in Ontario.
Cal State San Bernardino will award an Honorary Doctor of Humane Letters to distinguished alumna Yolanda T. Moses during its Spring Commencement ceremonies on May 15-16. Moses is being honored for her decades of scholarship, leadership and advocacy for equity in education, as well as her enduring support of her alma mater.
Cal State San Bernardino will award an Honorary Doctor of Humane Letters to alumnus William M. Stevenson during its Spring Commencement ceremonies on May 15-16. A longtime banking professional, educator and supporter of the university, Stevenson is being recognized for his decades of service to the business community and his lasting contributions to CSUSB and the region.
CSUSB celebrated the achievements of 1,570 graduates during the fall commencement ceremonies on Dec. 12-13, filling the Coussoulis Arena with cheers and Coyote pride.
The ceremonies will take place at the university’s Coussoulis Arena on Friday, Dec. 12, and Saturday, Dec. 13. The livestream of each ceremony will be available on the Commencement webpage.
Many of the newly minted CSUSB alumni are the first in their families to earn a college degree. “With this achievement you have broken a barrier and will now forever be a role model for siblings, relatives and future generations,” university President Tomás D. Morales said. Five commencement ceremonies took place May 16-17.
Jason Davalos, who lives in Palm Desert, will receive a bachelor of science degree in nursing at this year’s CSUSB College of Natural Sciences Commencement ceremony, taking place at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 17, at the Toyota Arena in Ontario.
Alaina O’Connell and Walter Navarro were selected as the 2024-25 Outstanding Students for the College of Natural Sciences. O’Connell, Outstanding Undergraduate Student, and Navarro, Outstanding Graduate Student, will be honored at the college’s Spring Commencement at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, May 17, at the Toyota Arena in Ontario.
