To receive the LEED Gold certification, project considerations were made to the site that included the building orientation, natural daylighting, energy efficiency, water efficiency, building materials and the building systems.

CSUSB’s Center for Global Innovation (CGI) received the LEED Platinum Certification, the highest green rating that a new building can achieve.
