CSU Chancellor Timothy P. White will hold a virtual talk with Dr. Anthony Fauci of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases on COVID-19 on Dec. 18.
The California State University, which includes CSUSB, has announced that it is planning for an anticipated return to delivering courses primarily in-person starting with the fall 2021 term.
CSUSB Professor Monty Van Wart received the California State University’s Faculty Innovation and Leadership Award for his work to advance student success.
Super Sunday is part of the CSU African American Initiative, which seeks to increase the college preparation, enrollment and graduation rates of African American students.

University representatives joined other CSU delegates for “Hill Day,” touting the achievement of CSU students.
CSUSB may be one of the campuses “that simply has so much more opportunity, and more challenges, and importance because of the way California is evolving in the next 10, 15, 20 years,” said Timothy P. White, CSU chancellor.
The conference, “Breaking the Mold: Anticipating the Challenges of Local Education,” will be held in Riverside through Thursday, Oct. 19.
Chancellor Timothy P. White, in a letter to the California State University, said there will be no tuition increase for the 2018-19 academic year. He also called for support for full funding of the CSU by writing to state legislators to #ChooseCSU.
