Sara Callori, associate professor of physics at CSUSB, attributes her success as a faculty member to the welcoming environment she found within the university.
As only the fourth tenure-track womxn in the department, Callori is part of the 20 percent of female faculty in physics departments nationwide. Since starting at CSUSB, Callori has valued the warm and supportive environment created by her fellow faculty members—an environment that not only encourages faculty but also empowers students to persevere and succeed.
