Blazing the trail for aspiring conductors and music students, Deja Chandler was the first music student to pursue CSUSB's new conducting performance major. Originally inspired by her grandfather's love for music, Chandler is the first in her family to pursue higher education.
Motivated by her family's unwavering support, Deja Chandler aspires to teach and ultimately become conductor of an orchestra. Deja accomplished a lot in her undergraduate journey.
