Student Leader Testimonials
Mira Williams, Resident Assistant
"Being a Resident Assistant in both AV and CV now has led me to become a more dedicated and devoted leader and person. I get to meet all new sorts of people and it’s so motivating knowing that I have become a resource and a helping hand for those who need."
Jillian Anderson, Resident Assistant
“When I first came to CSUSB, it was from community college. I had no idea what a life in housing would like. Flash forward to my senior year, and I get to represent housing through programming, creativity, positivity, and as an individual who is a leader. I see my freshmen residents every day, and every day I am glad that their experience is as impactful as my own. Life in housing is rewarding, and every day I have lived to uphold myself to the highest standard as a student, resident, and housing representative."
Lauren Pitman, Student Coordinator
"Stepping into the role of student coordinator has been a transformative experience for me. I’ve loved being there for our residents and supporting our student leaders in Arrowhead Village and more. This role has opened my eyes to the stories and needs of both. By staying engaged and involved, I’ve learned the importance of listening and finding creative ways to make a difference in our residence halls. "
