CSUSB professor comments on millennial friendship appsThe Daily DotApril 8, 2019 Kelly Campbell, a professor of psychology at California State University, San Bernardino, and a nationally recognized expert on relationships, was quoted in an article by the lifestyle website about the use of relationship apps to create platonic relationships between women. Often, the article stated, “these apps paint friendships with women with a broad, reductive brush, and present a narrow view of women as a monolith.” Said Campbell: “It assumes that all friendships and women are the same and seeking the same types of relationships.” Read the complete article at “Millennial friendship apps have a phony feminist problem.”
