Nicolas Navaroli, who graduated from Cal State San Bernardino in 2009 with bachelor’s degrees in computer science and mathematics, talked to CSUSB students about his experiences as an employee for Google, and the general work and life as a software engineer.
Navaroli, who after graduation attended UC Irvine, where he received a master’s degree and Ph.D. in computer science, told the students that the programming skills he learned as a CSUSB student helped him considerably at Google.
He also gave tips on job interviews and what potential employers are looking for. The talk, which was organized by the CSUSB Computer Science and Engineering Club, was designed for students to learn more about the profession.
