Registration for winter courses at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at the CSUSB Palm Desert Campus is now open.
OLLI is a program designed for adults 50 and over who want to experience learning for the fun of it.
The program offers non-credit, university-level courses, but without the grades, tests or homework. Special seminars, lectures, educational excursions and social activities keep seasoned adults active and relevant.
Annual memberships are $75 and run from July 1 through June 30. They also include a parking permit.
Then members can choose the courses they want to take and pay by the course. Six-week courses are $50 each; three-week courses are $30.
The winter semester courses begin the week of January 29 and run through April 2.
“If your retirement plans do not include a rocking chair, this is the place for you,” said Angela Allen, OLLI director. “It’s a place to rediscover what you love.”
There is a choice of learning venues, including online, hybrid and in person at the Cal State San Bernardino, Palm Desert Campus on Cook Street.
For more information about upcoming courses or to receive a free course catalog, visit the OLLI website, call (909) 537-8121 or email olli@csusb.edu.
