Cal State San Bernardino will hold its eighth annual university-wide Giving Tuesday campaign on Dec. 3, joining a global movement of generosity to support student scholarships and programs. This event, celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving in the U.S., underscores the spirit of giving during the holiday season.

Last year, CSUSB’s Giving Tuesday campaign broke records, with over 500 donors raising more than $110,000 from 25 states across the nation. The funds supported scholarships for students and essential university programs.

As state and federal funding often fall short, CSUSB remains committed to bridging the gap through the generosity of its donors. Contributions play a critical role in sustaining impactful programs, such as the Obershaw DEN food pantry, which provides warm meals to the 37% of CSUSB students who face food insecurity at the San Bernardino and Palm Desert campuses.

A contribution to CSUSB, no matter the size, has an immediate impact on the learning environment and student development. Donors do not need to wait until Dec. 3 to make a difference — contributions can be made today to help students thrive.
