The CSUSB Palm Desert Campus held a joyous and heartfelt graduation reception on May 8 to honor the Class of 2025.
The annual reception is a celebratory event recognizing the achievements of graduating students from the Palm Desert Campus, which includes a formal program followed by a dinner celebration.
The event serves as a special opportunity to highlight academic excellence, as well as recognize and celebrate the accomplishments of graduating students.
Held on campus, the event brought together graduates, their families, faculty, staff, alumni and community supporters for an evening filled with celebration, pride and inspiration.
Remarks were provided by Edna Martinez, associate vice president, Palm Desert Campus; Alondra Lopez, vice president, PDC Associated Students, Inc.; Chinaka DomNwachukwu, dean, College of Education; Jason Davalos, PDC outstanding student; and Robert (Bob) Leo, PDC outstanding faculty.
The names of this year’s graduates and their degree information were read by each student along with their personal acknowledgements, expressing gratitude to those who supported them along their academic journey.
Located in the heart of the Coachella Valley, the Palm Desert Campus is dedicated to providing a transformative educational experience for students and plays a vital role in expanding access to higher education in the region. With the campus seeing an increase in student enrollment, the new Student Services Building is part of a long-term vision to grow the campus and better serve the needs of its diverse student population.
