Brian Levin, a former New York Police Department officer and founding director of CSUSB’s Center for the Study of Hate and Extremism, lashed out at the Trump administration, saying the scope of its immigration enforcement has moved beyond criminal migrants. Enforcement actions since June 6 in the Los Angeles region sparked protests against federal officers.
