It was a great turnout at the Choose CSUSB Day at the Palm Desert Campus (PDC) event on March 14, attracting more than 200 students, family members and guests.
Students who have been admitted to California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB) for the fall 2026 semester, along with their families and guests, visited the CSUSB Palm Desert Campus for a day of exploration and engagement. Attendees toured the campus and connected with faculty, staff, alumni and current students while learning about the wide array of academic programs, financial aid opportunities, campus resources and support services available to help them succeed.
Throughout the day, attendees participated in interactive workshops, academic and student resource fairs, and were offered the opportunity to officially commit to joining CSUSB in the fall.
“Choose CSUSB Day is about helping students see themselves here,” said Edna Martinez, associate vice president of the CSUSB Palm Desert Campus. “Events like this allow students and their families to experience firsthand the supportive community, dedicated faculty and opportunities that await them here at the Palm Desert Campus. We are proud to welcome the next generation of Coyotes and look forward to supporting them throughout their academic journey.”
The event saw immediate success, with many student attendees submitting their intent to enroll and officially become Coyotes for the upcoming academic year.
Choose CSUSB Day provided admitted students with valuable insights into campus life and academic opportunities, helping them make informed decisions about their college journey.
