Mummies, mock digs and Canopic jars await junior Egyptologists this July as the Robert and Frances Fullerton Museum of Art (RAFFMA) at Cal State San Bernardino brings back its popular Kids Discover Egypt Workshop (KDEW).

The three-day program offers a hands-on introduction to ancient Egyptian civilization, with daily sessions from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at RAFFMA. Participants will explore archaeology, create their own Egyptian-inspired artifacts, take part in a mock excavation and collaborate on projects that bring history to life.

Two sessions are scheduled for July 2026: July 7–9 and July 14–16, both open to children ages 6–13. Each session is limited to 20 participants to ensure a personalized experience.

Registration opens April 24 and closes May 29. The program fee is $65, and financial assistance is available for families in need. Snacks will be provided daily, and participants are encouraged to bring their own lunch.

For additional information, contact RAFFMA at raffma@csusb.edu or call 909-537-7689.
