The award-winning play, “The Vagina Monologues,” will be performed at Cal State San Bernardino on Friday, March 8, Saturday, March 9, and Sunday, March 10, at the university’s Santos Manuel Student Union Theater.
The Office of Community Engagement (OCE) received a silver award for its “CSUSB Midterm Election Voter Campaign” under the TV/Video Advertising/PSA Series, according to the CAA.
The center, located about a mile from campus, will serve students from the Catholic Newman Club at CSUSB as well as other schools and colleges.
The summit, with the theme “Embracing the Mosaic,” aimed to encourage students to understand their own social identities as well as of those around them, among other topics.

The center, named for Bishop Gerald Richard Barnes, head of the Roman Catholic Diocese of San Bernardino, will serve students from the Catholic Newman Club at CSUSB as well as other schools and colleges.
Following a conversation about the uniqueness of Korean artwork, from the ancient to the present, attendees experienced a traditional Korean tea ceremony with tea master Youngmi Yi, director of the Myung Won Cultural Foundation Tea Ceremony.
The symposium, hosted by CSUSB and its University Diversity Committee in partnership with the Westside Action Group, will be held in the university’s Santos Manuel Student Union and feature keynote speaker Gail C. Christopher.
