Fifteen new faculty members and a new deputy provost have joined the coyote pack at Cal State San Bernardino, for the 2017-2018 academic year.
Twenty-six Cal State San Bernardino faculty members have been awarded promotions and/or tenure for the 2017-18 school year.
The free event, open to current and prospective students, counselors and faculty, begins at 6 p.m. at the Jack H. Brown College of Business and Public Administration, room 102.
Academics from throughout Latin America and other parts of the world will gather for the 52nd annual Latin American Commission for Administration Schools, known by its acronym in Spanish, CLADEA.
The university has enrolled more than 2,300 transfer students in the fall quarter.
The conference, “Breaking the Mold: Anticipating the Challenges of Local Education,” will be held in Riverside through Thursday, Oct. 19.

Cal State San Bernardino will be the venue for a town hall meeting with San Bernardino Mayor R. Carey Davis beginning at 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 26, at the Santos Manuel Student Union.
“The Cultural Revolution and ‘Diasporic Trauma’ in Hong Kong,” by Angelina Chin, associate professor of history at Pomona College, will take place at 12:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 30, at the John M. Pfau Library, PL-5005.
