
Students participating in the Ontario-Montclair Promise Scholars Initiative from Oaks Middle School heard presentations focused on STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics) disciplines.

Julia I. Lopez, one of California’s most impactful philanthropists and foundation leaders who has made a profound difference in the lives of students through her work with the College Futures Foundation, will be awarded a doctorate of humane letters.

The event on March 10 showcased the work by students in the Verizon Innovative Learning Program at Cal State San Bernardino.

In the Professional Competition of the the American Advertising Federation Inland Empire Chapter Awards, Coyote Advertising won one gold, three silver and six bronze awards. In addition, CSUSB students took home 31 awards in the Student Competition.

The 31 awards were the most this year by any one school in the student competition.
