The CSU reported record highs in student achievement measured by graduation rates under the CSU’s Graduation Initiative 2025, as reported at the virtual GI2025 symposium on Oct. 23. Kathy Ervin, CSUSB theatre arts professor, served as the event’s emcee, and Francisca Beer, associate dean of the Office of Academic Equity, introduced the FILA winner.

The construction and renovation project would add two new buildings to campus including a new Performing Arts Center and an academic building that would serve as an anchor to the College of Arts and Letters.

We are deeply grateful for The Supreme Court of the United States’ (SCOTUS) decision rejecting the rescission of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program for close to 700,000 DACA recipients. However, the Court ruling is based solely on procedural grounds, which means that DACA remains vulnerable.

California State University chiefs of police stand in unity with students, faculty and staff of the CSU in supporting the family of George Floyd, denouncing the use of excessive force and reaffirming their commitment to foster a campus culture that prioritizes compassion and care for all.

The 11 CSUSB students who participated in this year’s competition were selected from 31 students who participated in the 34th annual CSUSB Student Research Competition held in early February.
