
Fourteen students will represent Cal State San Bernardino at the California State University (CSU) Research Competition, held on April 25-26 at Cal Poly Humboldt. The statewide competition brings together top scholars from the 23 CSU campuses in this prestigious academic showcase.

Premiering April 25 and running through May 4 at the CSUSB Ronald E. Barnes Theatre, “You Don’t Even Speak Spanish” follows Jorge Ramirez, a first-generation Chicano college student, as he struggles to find his voice over the cacophony of noise coming from his family, his classmates, and the weight of expectations placed on his shoulders. The U.S. News & World Report 2025 edition of Best Graduate Schools has nationally ranked CSUSB’s Watson College of Education at No. 144 and the public administration program at No. 129.

The Arts & Humanities Career and Internship Fair will take place on April 21 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. in the Santos Manuel Student Union South Events Center. Students are encouraged to register.

The $7,000 award will support four students in CSUSB’s M.A. in Communication Studies or M.A. in English and Writing Studies programs who are committed to investigative or community journalism in the Inland Empire. The application deadline is April 15.
