“Anthropocene: The Human Epoch,” a film discussing the geological and environmental impacts humans have had on the Earth, will be shown at noon, Wednesday, Feb. 5, in the Santos Manuel Student Union Theater, followed by a discussion.

Breanna Putman (biology) co-authored a paper on how ecotourism and the presence of humans affects animal behavior. She and her fellow researchers tested whether human clothing color affects how a particular lizard, the water anole, behaves.

The CSUSB community gathered on Dec. 16 to honor the memory of Abhishek Sudhesh, a graduate student from India, who was killed off campus on Thanksgiving Day. His family, in partnership with CSUSB, established a scholarship fund in Sudhesh’s name.
